Lomond Co, LLC ("Lomond Co," "we," "us," or "our") operates this website and develops mobile applications including Vice Guide and HuntBNB. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account information. Name, email address, phone number, and password when you create an account.
• Identity verification. Because our products connect people who have not met, we may verify identity through a third-party verification provider. Government identification submitted for this purpose is handled by that provider and is not retained by us in full.
• Property information. If you list land, the location, boundaries, description, photographs, pricing, and access rules you provide.
• Communications. Messages sent through our platform, and correspondence with our support team.
• Payment information. Processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data. Device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and how you interact with the app.
• Location data. With your permission, precise or approximate location to show nearby listings and provide navigation to booked properties. You can turn this off in your device settings; some features will not work without it.

2. How we use information

• To create and administer your account.
• To match hunters with landowners and facilitate bookings and access agreements.
• To verify identity and reduce fraud, which is central to the safety of both sides of our marketplace.
• To process payments and payouts.
• To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• To send transactional messages about your bookings, and — where you have opted in — occasional product updates.
• To improve our products and diagnose technical problems.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information.

• Between users, as needed for a booking. When a booking is confirmed, the landowner and the hunter receive the information each reasonably needs to complete it, including name, contact method, and property location. We do not share your full contact details before a booking is confirmed.
• Service providers. Hosting, payment processing, identity verification, mapping, analytics, and customer support tools, each bound to use the data only to provide their service to us.
• Legal reasons. When required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lomond Co, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

4. Your choices and rights

• Access and correction. You can view and update most account information directly in the app.
• Deletion. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information by emailing us. We may retain limited records where required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
• Location. Revoke location permission at any time in your device settings.
• Marketing. Unsubscribe from promotional email using the link in any such message. Transactional messages about active bookings will continue.
• State privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding access, portability, correction, and deletion. Contact us to exercise them; we will not discriminate against you for doing so.

5. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. Booking records and access agreements are retained longer than general account data because they may be relevant to liability questions.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls limiting who on our team can view user data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Certain features may require users to be 18 or older. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "last updated" date above, and for material changes we will provide notice in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
